Monastiraki is proud to unearth some visceral masterworks from it’s house collection of Montreal underground graphics and artworks. Pieces by Henriette Valium, Simon Bossé, Corpusse, Billy Mavreas, Leyla Majeri, Richard Suicide and many more will represent this vibrant and eclectic scene.

Monastiraki, located in the heart of Montreals Mile-End district, has been serving up hybrid curiosity since 1998. Today, we sport an art gallery, host openings and micro-concerts, support a myriad of local and international artists, carry small press and zines, overflow with paper ephemera, have a fitful relationship with antiques and collectibles and are a place sure to enchant the curious.

Thanks !

** Jas Nasty loves dirty beats. Driven by heavy bass, you can expect to get down when she drops banging tracks that will bust through genre barriers of reggae, dubstep, 2-step, Baltimore club, electro, house, retro, rave/ electronica & bhangra. Her DJ adventures began in 2001 at Trent Radio, (Peterborough, ON), where she hosted and produced various weekly music shows. This led to DJ-ing parties and bars in Peterborough, and to Montreal to DJ for circus cabarets, loft parties and various clubs throughout the city.
