Artist Statement:
“I’ve been dreaming of painting a show with explicit content for many years. As an artist in school, an artist in my art infancy, I was focused on the structure of the human form. Measurements and form were everything.
In present day, I find my self exploring the subtleties of the human form.
Such things as how a hairline grows and the sparkle of wet skin.
I was determined to paint canvases that would allow for me to explore
these beautiful details and I didn’t care if the canvases would sit, unseen by human eyes.
It had to be done!!
In Ottawa, no one would embrace the idea of such a show. One person took a chance.
